Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on system requirements and user stories.
- Perform API testing to validate backend services, integrations, and data consistency
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, and supporting evidence.
- Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders to ensure timely defect resolution.
- Conduct testing after bug fixes, enhancements, and system updates.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including coordination with business users when required.
- Validate fixes and ensure issues are fully resolved before production release.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation and reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards, testing strategies, and best practices.
- Assist in the adoption and improvement of test automation practices where applicable.
- Ensure application quality, stability, and readiness at deployment.
Persyaratan
- Minimum 1+ year of professional experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer (manual and/or automation).
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Solid knowledge of manual testing techniques, including:Functional testing, Regression testing, and User Acceptance Test (UAT).
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in the following programming languages: PHP, JavaScript, HTML & CSS.
- Experience or familiarity with CodeIgniter framework and MVC-based applications.
- Experience in designing and maintaining: test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools, including request validation and response verification.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL (e.g., MySQL) for data validation and test verification.
- Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into comprehensive test coverage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases and potential risks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for defect reporting and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is preferred.
- Experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium or Katalon is considered a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) is a plus.
